Do your children love to play with water and sand? My younger son is the most dirty example of that! It's difficult to take him out of this mud he makes. Happily we did this small sand box in our garden so the kids can play when they feel like it. My older one is not much into it any more, but sometimes he is happy to help his small brother to make even more mess. I wish you a great weekend. Here we still have one week to go before school holiday.

I really like when the design objects balance between beauty and humor. This funny but modern looking lamp really make me smile. Did you notice the original system to play with the hight of the lamp? I'm afraid my sons would love to try it! ;-) The delicate mobile is so great and the stones look so soft and worth to play with. Dmoch is an interdisciplinary design studio founded by David Ericsson, Marcus Berg and Ania Pauser situated in Stockholm.

We're in the news! I'm so happy to show you this modern and playful collection for kids, from the current issue of Arquitectura y Diseño magazin. Rafa-kids set F+R is part of it. I would love to have all of this products for my boys! ;-) And you ?
Muchas gracias à José Sánchez!
Stefan Scholten and Carole Baijings extend they beautiful collection of adult size bedding " Color Block Bed Linen " also for set for children. I really like not only the colors but the fresh graphic pattern. That's why I also fall in love with the StrikAholic bedding which has this simple and modern look. It's really difficult to find such a modern looking accessories for kids, not sweet and childish. Many fine and simple motives like cars, horses, houses and people are design by Dorte Niedziella from Denmark. The bedding have a different colors and pattern on both size what make it even more fun!

Like you could see I am into gray since few weeks. The Danish company Hay collection 2012 is really one of my favorite color palettes at the moment. It's not a new brand, already for 10 years on market with a several award winning products. I really like their design field between architecture and fashion. " … Hay is committed to nurturing and promoting the originality of young talents as well as exploring the twisted minds of established designers..."

What a fantastic toy called Robol! The possibilities are endless as all the pieces connect via magnets. You can create your own monsters every day. The designers from Prodiz are Polish duo Małgorzata Żółkiewska i Przemek Ostaszewski. I'm really impressed by their furniture too. Especially the smart plywood desk, so easy to setup without any tools. New talented couple on their way to success! I hope.

If you are planing to visit Holland or maybe you are already here close to Dordrecht you should definitely visit Villa Augustus. It is a restaurant, hotel, vegetable garden, market and shop…all situated in an unique place around old water tower. It has amazing atmosphere and was renovated and made with a lot of passion and a grate taste. We had one lovely afternoon there.
